The restaurant is very pretty, and it's obvious that management made a large investment. However, the food is just okay, and definitely overpriced. The restaurant is basically just another casual dining concept looking to drive margins without putting in much effort. The salsa and the chips on the table to start were basically scooped from a can and dumped from a bag. Beef tacos came barely a third filled, with little bowls of bland, lukewarm beans and rice on the side.The fish tacos were better, but there was only two on the order and they were basically puffs of dough with a little fish inside. They did come hot though. Service was mediocre. The server was wearing a dirty apron even though we werealmost the first people in for lunch. We ordered guacamole with the tacos, which the server forgot. Another server brought it to the table finally in a tiny bowl. Tons of parking.
Sat on patio which was decently spaced for covid seating. Sun was a bit strong in the early evening but not unbearable. Atmosphere was great and wait staff excellent and genuinely happy. Chips are top notch. Food came out quicker than expected but we were there before 6pm to beat dinner rush. Enjoyed it greatly, would go again but maybe just split a dish next time as the chips were so good.
The food was delicious. I had the pork tacos. The portions are very generous, so you can share or take leftovers. Unfortunately, the service was not good. The waitress took a while (10 min or so) to get our drinks: one bottle of beer, two waters and 1 soda. There were no specialty drinks ordered. We asked about the status of our drinks and she finally got it for us.
