We stumbled upon this turo-turo in New Jersey, and I truly believe it offers the best Filipino food I've ever had in the US. Just last week, I was in the Bay Area and Las Vegas and tried the Filipino buffet as well as the turo-turo at Seafood City in Concord, CA. While those were all good, Casa Manila in NJ stands out as distinctly better for authentic Filipino flavors. Special shoutout for their bagoong that goes perfectly with the kare-kare, and their chicharrón is absolutely delicious!
This is a traditional Turo Turo spot (where "turo" means "point"). The combo includes two types of meat, white rice, and a drink. The staff is very friendly, and the food tastes absolutely delicious. They also have desserts for sale. You can visit multiple times without having to eat the same thing, which is great! The prices are very reasonable as well. I absolutely love it!
I'm heading to FILIPINO EATS for some amazing cafeteria-style dishes! Everything is absolutely delicious! I particularly love the dinuguan—it's perfectly seasoned and you get tender meat with every bite—and the pancit is fantastic too! It's so good that I would choose to buy from them instead of cooking it myself. Definitely a must-try!
I visited her restaurant in Union, and the one in Bergenfield is just as impressive. The staff is friendly and provides excellent customer service, and they serve some of the best Filipino food in the area. Highly recommended! Reserva una mesa ahora
I had an amazing experience with the authentic Filipino cuisine at this restaurant. Their egg rolls are simply the best I've ever had. The roasted pig was incredibly delicious as well.
