Casa Mexicana - Reserva de mesa

I don?t often post negative reviews. However, after the experience at lunch today while visiting Casa Mexicana, I feel compelled to do so in this case. I have been a loyal patron of this restaurant for over a year. I?ve always been met with good food, smiling faces and good service. The experience today fell far short of those normal standards. My coworker and I went to the restaurant for lunch today. She ordered a Taco Salad Bowl. Upon receipt of her food, she was immediately dissatisfied with the presentation. We had dinner here tonight. My daughter ordered a $20 steak meal cooked medium well and it came out rare. The guy got an attitude when he was told so he made her another one and brought out just the meat. No rice beans or anything. I ordered a steak and got steak bites cooked over done. Not at all the description on the menu. My son ordered Acp trio and the shrimp were the size of little tiny salad shrimp. And tasted old. They do not want to correct orders that come out wrong. For what we paid the food was horrible and the service was even worse. My daughter was in tears. I will not go back there ever again. If I could give them less than one star I would.

We have eaten here five times now and I am ready to say that this is the best Mexican restaurant around for the quality and the value. They are lovingly called the mexican diner in my household because they have everything anyone would ever want on the menu for a very reasonable price. Their salsa is homemade and delicious and the chips are served warm. I have been to all the Mexican place around Pinehurst, but this is the one we will only go to from now on.

First time there. We were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and gave off a relaxing, positive vibe. The margaritas were good the food came quickly and it was delicious. I always look for good tamales because they are my favorite and their pork ones were very good, they could have used a little more meat but over all it was great! Reserva una mesa ahora

Service was good. Food does not. Salsa was a bland, thin tomato sauce, nachos had chips, some sort of ground beef melted cheese. No tomatoes, chopped chiles or scallions. And the cheese tasted like American not cheddar. With our dinners, the guacamole garnishment was good but the amount was very small, like a teaspoon or so on lettuce.

Their food was incredible, some of the best I ever had! Prices and portions were perfect, too!! Service was fast and pleasant! We will probably become regulars there! Everything was clean and the decor was pleasing to the eye.

Quickly seated at a table of our choice. Order taken immediately, at our request, food hot and full of flavor. Owner visited our table twice with a wonderful and happy personality. Looking forward to going back soon.

An excellent Tex Mex style restuarant. The salsa is very good and spicy. I particularly liked the flan. Will come back again when I'm in town. Well recommended.
