We decided to spend an evening here, but ran into some issues. My phone indicated that the restaurant closed at 10:00 PM, so we placed our order at 9:00 PM. However, it turned out that they actually closed at 9:00 PM without notifying us. My son stopped to get gas on his way to pick up the order, thinking he had more time, and I tried to reach him but he’s good at not using his phone while driving. I feel bad because they tried to contact us twice after he left. I was unaware that he was getting gas, and he didn’t realize the restaurant had already closed. As someone from Texas, I must say that the Mexican food here doesn't quite compare to what I'm used to back home, but it was still enjoyable for Virginia. I'm definitely planning to come back for Taco Tuesday and to check out the marshmallow treats. Thursday nights are karaoke nights, and I’m looking forward to joining in again.
There’s plenty of seating both on the terrace and inside, and it seems there’s a party room as well as the area where the karaoke takes place. One thing to note, though: once you place an order, it’s hard to change your mind. We tried to cancel our happy hour appetizers right after ordering, but they told us it couldn't be done.
I came with a group of six people to visit Casa Tequila Bar Grill and they seated us promptly and the service was fairly good. Nicely decorated restaurant and great looking bar. I thought the food was just ok and I could not taste any tequila in the margarita. I am a little biased in that I am from Southern California and the average Mexican restaurants typically have excellent food and this tasted more like canned salsa and spices. So average Mexican food and weak drinks but a fun place. No partitions so the restaurant gets loud. Everyone had a great time and they also have a nice patio.
Will add to my review. Do far a 3 star plus. Music too loud in the bar. For some reason they Sat me next to the bathroom. Dark in here. Can't read the menu and light is too low to get a clear photo m. Chips and salsa are very good. Had 3 enchiladas combo. The order took a long time and arrived room temperature and the tortillas were starting to harden around the edges. The restaurant was half-full, so server must not have been paying attention. Food, service overall a 3 star ? at best. Maybe 3.2. I think Lorton residences should give a try.

Food was great and the drinks were delicious, definitely go here for a fun time and yummy drinks. Was disappointed with our complimentary chips, as most of them were not full chips and were small, crumbled pieces. Aside from this, service was great and the atmosphere was great for the Friday night. I had the frozen Mango Margarita, which I strongly suggest to anyone going there for a drink. But if that isn?t what you like, their drink menu has many options for everyone.
Casa Tequila is excellent. We went on a Friday evening for dinner. The hostesses greeted us at the door and we were very promptly seated. Our waitress was wonderful as well and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant, even on a busy Friday evening our order was taken quickly and our food arrived quickly as well. All in all an excellent experience, and very family friendly.
I deducted a star because the tacos al carbon were essentially small flour tortilla tacos, which is quite different from the traditional flour tortilla wraps I've had at other restaurants when ordering this dish. Additionally, the chips and salsa didn’t impress me based on my experience. Of course, everyone's culinary experience may vary based on their personal preferences.
Skinny margaritas were good and the staff was nice, but the nachos made a bad impression. Instead of tortilla chips, they used taco shell halves. And they seemed like Box Taco Shoel. We got chicken, but it seemed like a few slim strips of chicken, not even a whole piece of chicken, so not worth the price. I just come back for the margaritas.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The location is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. The thin margarita is a must-try, and the jalapeño margarita is also a great option. However, I found the nachos to be lacking. I would definitely come back to try other dishes!
