I tried Cash’s Diner for the first time and it did not disappoint! I ordered the grilled fish and shrimp, while my husband chose the fried fish and shrimp. We both enjoyed fresh and crisp side salads, and I was pleasantly surprised by a serving of greens that were full of flavor. The food was delicious, and our waitress, Rhonda, was incredibly nice. By the time we finished eating, we wanted to order a slice of cake, but it got busy and we didn’t have enough time to wait. Rhonda was the only waitress on duty, but she handled it well. I would definitely recommend this place!
I’ll begin with the food I had. My fried chicken salad was fantastic! Unfortunately, the baked potato was not as good. The main issue during my visit was that I waited nearly 45 minutes before someone (who wasn't my waitress) came over to take my order, and then it took another 5 minutes to receive my food. My actual waitress seemed to focus more on the customer sitting in front of me and only checked on my table once. Would I visit again? Probably not unless I had plenty of time to spare.
Great place to stop in for a great meal! Staff are awesome and have excellent people skills. There are 3 components of this business. The store, the restaurant and the truck stop casino. I enjoy visiting all 3. Great selection of poker style machines which are always updated with the newest games. Drinks are free as long as you are playing in the casino area. Fair prices on menu items with nice portions also. The grilled Shrimp Salad is A1!!! Keep up the awesome work guys! A
The food and service were exceptional! I haven't enjoyed food this good since I was a kid at my grandma's house (she was raised on a farm). The atmosphere is very friendly and laid-back, reminiscent of true Southern hospitality. If I lived here, I would definitely be a regular! The portions are quite generous, and the food is fantastic. The staff is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I ordered the red beans and rice with greens, and it was delicious. I also got a Cajun po' boy with onion rings to enjoy later. I shared everything with my two boys, and they absolutely loved it!
I discovered this restaurant when I couldn’t find parking at Loves. After checking the reviews, I decided to give it a try. The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic. I ordered the ribeye, and it was delicious. I’m definitely adding this spot to my truckers' choice list on Google Maps!
