we had a fantastic stay in the castle hotel adult and two children in the old and room was just a delicious bite and a half. everything was perfect, even the temperature in the room. very comfortable beds and beautiful beds. the breakfast was perfect. we did not sit in the bar as if we wanted to leave children, but the open fire was very welcoming. all the staff were kind and did what they could. we would like to return and recommend this hotel in any case. Oh, her own gin was also delicious.

Staying in Dornoch for a week, looked for somewhere for a drink and dinner on a Monday evening. Thought we’d give this a try and it was wonderful. We got speaking to some lovely people over a huge wood fire in the bar. Thought we’d see if there was a table available in the restaurant and we were lucky. The scallop and black pudding starter was delicious but the main of duck breast was stunning!! To a person the staff were lovely and we had a wonderful evening! Many thanks x

During our two-night stay at the hotel, we decided to dine at the restaurant on the second night. While the menu wasn't extensive, I found my meal to be delightful. I tried the twice baked cheese souffle for the first time and thought it was delicious. The duo of chicken that followed was beautifully cooked, and I ended the meal with a raspberry pavlova. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, I would definitely dine here once more.

we were very excited to come to the whisky bar, but so disappointing. a very extensive list, although unfortunately not representative for the available whisky in the regals. from the list could not be found a selection. no dallas dhu, no rosebank, no tomintoul no glen elgin. at the end it was easier to find one in the cabinet that was there and went for this post: after minen my man found the tomtoul in the wrong cabinet Reserva una mesa ahora

I recently visited the whisky bar during a trip to the highlands. Ben was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me discover new whiskies that I had never tried before. I also had the chance to purchase whisky and gin made by the Dornoch distillery. It was a fantastic evening, thank you.

The menu was quite limited, and the dish I ordered was simple without any presentation efforts. However, the bar area was very nice and the rooms were comfortable.
