The service was great friendly and efficient, the coffee was good, the chips were good, salad was also not bad. However, the fish was not the flathead I ordered, I was very disappointed to receive a very inferior quality fish when expecting flathead. For those not familiar with Flathead it is one of the top quality fish for fried fish in Australia (The World too in my experience) the fish I received looked and tasted nothing like Flathead Flathead fillets are always tapered in both height and width due to the shape of the fish, these were parallel strips of a lesser quality fish, and also slightly dry. Excellent service, prices, retro feel, and meals looked yummy. Nice to be able to taste and enjoy the coffee in our mocha and almond latte, and the scones and muffin were freshly made. As its out near the port boat ramp there was a lot of parking for vans and access to stretch your legs on the waterfront. Worth the few extra k's to get therem
The service was excellent. We ordered a burger to share, and they kindly cut it in half for us, giving us double the amount of chips. The burger was delicious and the chips were crispy and perfectly cooked. Just as they should be.
Glad we found this little gem! Friendly staff and a great selection of food at affordable prices. We dined for brunch and our food and drinks came out promptly. Enjoyed the arfer breakfast and my partner loved his pancakes.

Super friendly and efficient service, great coffee, great hot chocolates and tasty food. We called in 3 mornings for (takeaway) breakfast whilst staying at Mackay Harbour. Each time is was delicious.
I have coffee here quite regularly but will never have B&E sandwich again. The bread I think was deep fried, absolutely disgusting, dripping in oil. On the good side Coffee is always good.
The restaurant offers a great selection of food and drinks at affordable prices. The staff is friendly and cheerful. We both had breakfast and were impressed with the quality of the meals.
The place looks like a normal cafe but this was one of the Best chicken burgers I've had in a long time and service was very good. If you are at the harbour definitely stop in for lunch

We had a delicious breakfast at this restaurant. My husband ordered a large breakfast and I highly recommend the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The staff are very friendly.
Just ordered family pack fish and chips very light on the chips and almost no tarter sauce.
