This place is suitable for families and groups as the menu has something for everyone. We were visiting and it sounded like a local institution so we booked on our last night, which was a Friday. It must have a large, regular clientele as it was full and busy, but we soon realised it's an "eating place" more like a cafeteria than a restaurant.The service is slick and professional and was the best aspect of our evening however it is not a place for a relaxed dinner or for a date night.It is busy, noisy and long overdue for an update of it's old, tired interior. Wonderful food, friendly and efficient service and a great atmosphere.This restaurant was recommended by the owner of the motel where we were staying and it did not let her recommendation or us down.Even on a very busy Tuesday night and we had not booked, we were able to be seated in very short time.The food was very fresh, well presented and most of all delicious. Bar prices very reasonable.Thank you.
Had dinner. We shated a garlic pizza bread starter. I had pizza and my wife had a pumpkin ravioli for the main. My wife said the ravioli was ok, nothing special. The pizza bread and pizza were very ordinary, the base was more like a Sao biscuit than a pizza base. I suspect they were pre-baked. I don't know but they were not good enough for a Italian restaurant.
Always great food and Great service Absolutely love going to Sorbello's. Great variety of meals and the wine list Bottles from $25 to $800. I always purchase from the lower end, but would love to try the higher end.

Good dependable place to eat lunch in Mackay. Service is brisk if time poor. Food is good but sometimes is lacking that extra attention to detail.

Excellent wholesome Italian food. Menu is extensive and I recommend the seafood misto. Staff are very friendly and the place gets very busy
