I haven't visited this restaurant in a long time and was excited to return, but unfortunately, the energy was different and the food was disappointing. Instead of offering all of the sides listed on the menu, they only provided homemade potatoes or hashbrowns, even though there were supposed to be five options. I ordered some kind of potatoes with sautéed peppers and onions, but the potatoes were not fresh and appeared to be straight out of a frozen bag. They were not cooked well and overall, the meal was very disappointing. The coffee was decent, but I will not be returning to this establishment. I was unaware that it had changed owners and is now known as the Neighborista. Best of luck to...
The bad reviews about this place are ridiculous. This place is great! Bringing in Intelligentsia Coffee to an restaurant in SCV is long overdue. I'll pay a little extra for fantastic coffee and better quality ingredients! For a town that has way too many chain restaurants with crappy food I'm so happy to see a mom and pop open that values integrity! To all of those who want too much food and pay so little..I don't know what to tell you.... go to Denny's and don't forget to schedule an appointment with a cardiologist in the near future.
This was my first time at this restaurant. The owner, Eric, came by to greet us (excellent customer service). It was a little warm inside, but Eric apologized for it. The homemade jams were incredibly delicious, and we tried 3 different flavors. We also ordered the Philly steak sandwich, pastrami, Denver omelette, and a bagel with lox and a fried egg. Everything was delicious. We definitely plan to come back to try more items on the menu. This is now my new favorite spot!
Went here yesterday--it isn't closed! They have rebranded and renamed the place (it is now called Neighbarista), but still same delicious, high quality food with great service! Got it to go and they threw in some free homemade cookies. I absolutely love their Chipotle Benny, any of their crepes and pancakes/waffles, and their homemade, unique coffee creamers and jams! And they now serve Intelligentsia Coffee. They remodeled and cleaned up the location. Highly recommend!

Cheap New Owner!!!!!! This was one of my family's favorite places to go for breakfast until it was taken over by its new owner. The servers say the food is the same but it is not. Maybe labeled as the same dish but prepared with cheaper ingredients. In my opinion, there are other places in town that serve higher quality and quantity of food for the money. What a shame!!!!!! A true gem turned into fools gold.
We used to love going to Tommy's on the Old Road in Santa Clarita, but our recent takeout experience left much to be desired. We ordered Double Chili Cheese Burgers and fries, but were disappointed with the lack of flavor in the fries and the small, steamed patties in the burgers. There was hardly any chili, and the messiness we used to enjoy was missing. Overall, it was a waste of time and money.
I had heard about the incredible breakfast menu at this restaurant for months and finally decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! I ordered the Loco moco, while my wife had the Crooked Cork. We will definitely be returning in the future!
