Interesting place to eat at, kinda out of the way and somewhat a challenge to get to but the food and service is well worth the effort. 1st time to eat here and it surely won't be the last! Staff started out a bit slow to get our order going and provide drinks, but the definitely made up for it as the meal progressed. Brought their rating up from a 1 star to a 4 star. Held back 1 star because of the wait (place wasn't busy) maybe next time they'll go the distance in the service program. Food was out standing, hot and delicious.... give them a try you won't be disappointed.... next time I'll try to remember to take photos before I start eating... lol....have a happy meal....
Listen.... the place is amazing! Amazing patio atmosphere. As a picky margarita drinker, I am very impressed with how fresh their mix is. I ordered a regular margarita on the rocks because I wanted a big gulp and the skinny margarita typically doesn't come in a large. So, I literally had to ask if my giant margarita was made with fresh squeezed mix, and y'all, it freaking was!! Basically a high dollar margarita for a low cost. This is my third trip here, super consistent, same margarita, and the food and fajitas are so delicious! Worth the drive. And thanks to the new 249 toll road, easy to get to!! (Super cute bathrooms too, not typical important, but I love it)
What an incredible dining experience! The restaurant has recently changed ownership and is now called La Casa Agave. Without a doubt, this is the best Mexican food I have ever tasted! What they refer to as beef is actually tender, perfectly seasoned steak—something you would expect to find at a steakhouse. The chunky guacamole is a delightful mix of avocado and pico de gallo. The frozen margaritas were blended to perfection. The portion sizes were enormous! Gather your friends and family—this place is truly AMAZING!!!
I ordered the Chicken Flauta dinner. It came with rice, refried beans, guac, queso, and sour cream. The flautas tasted like dog food. Not sure how you can mess up fried taquitos. The queso was decent so I stuck with that. The frozen house margarita was decent but if you plan on ordering one on the rocks, they are all pre-made in a 5 gallon mold holder. We always have enjoyed eating here but our grub hub order was not good we had two different enchiladas dinners delivered. They were overdone on the bottom, sauce was soso, rice did not taste fresh. We were SO disappointed, it was almost like they had a new chef who wasn9't as good. We will probably go back as dine in to give them another chance.
We used to love this restaurant when it focused more on seafood, but we were very disappointed today. The salsa was watery, the seafood enchiladas had no sauce—just cheese—and everything else was only mediocre. The chips were cold, the service was slow, and there were only three tables occupied, including ours. We won’t be returning!
Chips and salsa delicious! Quac is yum! Service??? Not so much! You walk in and all staff is on their phones. You can be the only table there and you have to ask for refills etc. Not sure if they have anyone in charge?! The food is good...I recommend that for sure. Service...is very disappointing.
