We came here for the first time last night to celebrate our son's 28th birthday. Service was impeccable and very gracious. The food was beautifully plated and so delicious! Our cocktails, a pineapple mojito for me, a Manhattan for my husband, and a Le Poire for my son, we all very tasty. We ordered the artichoke beignets, duck spring rolls, and Brussels sprout chips to share as starters, and all were delicious. My son ordered the Caesar salad, my husband ordered the butter lettuce and pear salad, and my daughter and I shared the beet salad. We discovered this restaurant by sheer accident on our first day as residents of San Mateo and loved it. We have brought friends and relatives ever since, and, to a person, they have praised the food and service without prompting! Last night our friend could not stop talking about the duck ragout. We all went crazy over the beignets we shared for dessert. The owner and waiters are consistently attentive without being obtrusive. This is our favorite spot, and it’s no longer an accident!
Loved everything the burrata heirloom salad, lobster salad, carrot soup and mushroom pizza! Always great atmosphere, service and food. One of our favorite go to places for date night, dinner with friends, and celebrations. We've been going for years, never disappoints!
Good service. Excellent steak tartar and pear salad. Noise level a little high. My friend loved so many non gluten choices.
