Nandy's Tamil Foods

As a frequent traveller to Sri Lanka, I know good Sri Lankan food when I taste it. I was lucky to stumble upon Ceylon Imbiss the other day coming out of the Unionstrasse U-Bahn stop, and I can say that it has a wonderful menu...and low prices. It specializes in Kottu Rotti which is a dish of chopped up noodles, vegetables, and meat (optional). But it also offers numerous other dishes from Sri Lanka and India. Everything that my family and I have eaten there has been delicious. Much of its business seems to be take-away orders, but there are several tables where one can eat comfortably. The prices are more than reasonable, much less than the typical Indian restuarant in Germany. And the food...

We love the food here. It's original and not adapted to German taste. We've tried Chili Chicken, Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Biryani. Chili Chicken is really hot, so avoid it if you're not used to that kind of heat. As an entrée we have tried...their Samosa. All of their food is very tasty. We went here about three times in the last two months. Try their masala chai too!

Nos encanta la comida de aquí. Es original y no está adaptado al gusto alemán. Hemos probado el pollo con chile, el pollo Vindaloo y el pollo Biryani. Chili Chicken está muy picante, así que evítalo si no estás acostumbrado a ese tipo de picante. Como plato principal hemos probado.

just super delicious. order was super on time ready for pick-up and it's always a bit of tension as sharp it will be again this time. we've been a long time. only the parking situation at the pickup is a bit difficult. but this is just a problem in the selection. Reserva una mesa ahora

Como viajero frecuente a Sri Lanka, reconozco la buena comida de Sri Lanka cuando la pruebo. Tuve la suerte de toparme con Ceylon Imbiss el otro día saliendo de la parada Unionstrasse UBahn, y puedo decir que tiene un menú maravilloso.
