Stumbled upon this restaurant when we walked through the city of Lourdes, the restaurant seemed empty on dinnertime. The restaurant was neatly decorated in white and blue color theme and it was not so big. However, we went in as there is an 'OPEN' sign on the door. Then a boy and a lady greeted us to come in. We saw the menu in French but the they tried to explain which best recommended menu suited us in English. We ordered two main dishes : the vegetable fried rice with chicken curry & chicken-vegetable stir fry with steamed white rice. The lady, the owner, cooked herself and surprisingly, all of them are so tasty and the portion was great at a very reasonable price.It was a great pleasure...
I was very surprised how great this place is...... The food was excellent!You need to have time as the food is made fresh ...... So don't expect a meal to come out in 5 minutes ...... However it is worth the wait. Not everything is available on the menu as she makes everything daily.The food is authentic Sri Lankan food made with lots of care.Don't let the poor decor fool you or the lack of music and table clothes- this place is the best in Lourdes!
We were a party of 10 and visited this restaurant. It was off season, so the owner/chef wasn't prepared for a large group at once, yet, she came up with delicious food within a reasonable time. We couldn't resist going back the next day. If you would like to try authentic Sri Lankan food, this is the place to go!
Could be biased because we're Asian and used to rich spices, so when we eat anywhere else in Lourdes..they tasted rather bland. But this place is superb, I had the Chicken Briyani and my husband had the Vegetable Fried Rice with Chicken Curry and everything tasted amazing!

We had a fantastic and memorable meal here. Every single dish we ordered (rice dishes recommended by the owner/chef) was amazing and large portions at reasonable prices. Find your way here for an authentic and delicious Sri Lankan meal.
The food is very tasty.. This is kind of family restaurant with friendly and warm owner. I accidentally found this restaurant while on my way to train station. Very recommended!! Lastly, the food is very cheap and decent portion!

It's close to home and that's good. The food is not as good as other Whataburgers around the city. Not sure why the meat always tastes off to me.
