We spent two days here late summer and were so grateful for the beautiful setting, the very comfortable accommodation and delicious food. Our room was spacious, decorated with lots of special touches and had a lovely balcony with a view over the valley and mountains beyond and a great bathroom. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, off-the-beaten-track this is the place to come to! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant delicious. I don't know what they put in their salad dressing, but it was one of the tastiest dressings I've ever eaten. We were lucky to have 2 metres of fresh snow bedding the 30 minute track up to the hotel on a caterpillar tracked ranger that the managers use to ferry guests on this occasion in the dark! The room we were in (in the recently refurbished separate lodge unfortunately did not have a view of the glorious mountain vista across the valley but it was very comfortable although a tad small. The 2 German managers and their staff were all very helpful and the dining was good. The highlight of our stay was a snowshoe walk up the mountain (and back down ; The location is really precious. We stayed 3 nights.

This was a great experience! Getting picked up by a snow plough was so exciting and then taking the sled down back to the valley was soooo much fun! The terrace had great views and we also loves the tipi with bond fire at night. The rooms were great, the beds comfortable. Of course we thourpughly enjoyed the sauna as well. All in all a fun experience! We definitely come back!

Getting into the snow vehicle in the car park and heading up to the hotel through the snow covered forest, the hospitality shown by the hosts is second to none, the food is uncomplicated, homely and delicious. The picture windows of the hotel room overlooking The Valley is breathtaking, all in all I can only say that the 3 nights I spent here were fantastic. Reserva una mesa ahora

Quite unique setting up on a hill by itself. The rooms were simple but comfortable and clean. There were multiple hikes directly from the hotel, which were extremely beautiful when we visited. Good restaurant and tasty home-brewed beer round out a comfortable stay.

very welcome. great service from personal. very accommodating. they cooked for us, although we are very late. can't blame. fantastic view. they also have their own microbrowing and the brewing are great

The former ski restaurant is now visited by hikers, snowshoers and ski tourers seeking peace and quiet. Here you can eat very well and enjoy a magnificent view over half of Valais.
