Alright, so my family and I have been coming here from the start and well, a lot has changed. Firstly, yay for a vegan restaurant on this side of town!! It's pretty scarce over here and as vegans we'd rather support vegan only restaurants so we were thrilled when this place opened. Incredible and inspired food, appealing to the masses but instilled w a deep understanding of powerful superfoods. My friend Shane has created a delicious menu and cozy bright space that's familiar even though it's an innovative all mushroom based restaurant and menu. The staff was really helpful and sweet, clearing my table for me after I finished eating and guiding through the menu as it was my first visit and I had questions. The food was super delicious and well balanced as well as a bit decadent in all the right ways. As a first time guest, I felt like I was interrupting and in the way of the front counter staff. The employee on the register was definitely overwhelmed and annoyed. Fortunately, other first time guests that entered during my meal received a warm welcome and full explanation of the menu and products. I ordered very minimally without the education so I was unable to experience much of the posted favorites of other reviewers. I had the taco trio and enjoyed the tacos. I found some of the sauces to be a little spicy for my taste. The Blueberry Bloomer Mushy is way too sweet for me but it was very delicious. They took off all the good menu items..like if plenty of people are still ordering something don’t ya think you should keep it on the menu..? Seems like they’re more worried about pleasing their employees tastes buds rather than their customers. In place of them taking off all the good food items, they put a bunch of OVER PRICED, DISGUSTING smoothies. I guess the owner is confusing his “successful juice bars” with an actual food place…and the new smash burger isn’t even a smash burger..it’s a huge burger with 2 patties…like what are you guys actually doing…The quality of the food and friendliness of the staff is inconsistent as well. The ENTIRE staff are DELIGHTFUL PEOPLE. You will never find such a place so welcoming upon entering AND while enjoying their tasty variety of healthy foods/drinks. These burgers and shakes are truly incredible. Everything is so fresh and delicious. I love their Chagasmash burger. I visit Vegas 1 to 2 times a year for about a week and ALWAYS make at least 1 visit to ChagaRoot and there are tons of vegan options in Vegas, but I always have to come here.
