We booked for our chalet hosts night off. A small ride on the free bus, that runs every hour, well worth the effort. Italian influence, lovely ambience, toasty roaring fire. Great menu selection, we ordered a selection of food for 4 and tucked in sharing the dishes, to experience the fabulous flavours. Truffle pizza, truffle pasta were the highlights; beautiful delicate flavours. Great wine menu. We educated the barmen in the expresso martini experience. Super friendly jovial service, great location, away from it all. We didn't take lunch here in this occasion, but always an excellent choice for skiers and non skiers, and those after a long lunch and snooze on the sun facing terrace.
I know very good this restaurant to eat regularly and here's what I can say: in the kitchen: an Italian chef who is only love and softness and everything is found in his dishes and pizza, a love of well done work and fresh products, and a sweetness of the assembly of products....a brigade has its image, devoured to the customer! in the room: you feel a real team cohesion with efficient and always ready to service... a fast and efficient service! Inevitably one of the best restaurant on the swan!
Visited with group of 8 friends for a ski lunch. Quality of food and service was excellent. The prices are always expensive in the Alps but for just a small amount more we got excellent food compared to the rip off self service establishments higher up the mountain. It's well worth the ski down, we did lunch here twice in a week and loved it. I would highly recommend the daily specials, the pork cheeks don't sound great but were amazing.Highly recommend
This restaurant is out of the main resorts but easily accessed by the fee bus service. It's a traditional style restaurant with log fire, fleeces on the seats and it's always busy. Best to book in advance. There is a fine menu and large portions. The salad if enough for two. All of the typical local dishes can be found together with pizzas etc. Ideal for families, the owners will pull tables together for you. 5 mins from the bus stop.

We went to the Chalet de la Roche several times during our stay in la Plagne. Both for lunchs and dinners, the quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere were excellent. Alain and his team make a big difference. Nice choice of local and international dishes. We will definitely go again.
I've been there several times and I'm still enjoying myself! Very nice restaurant next to the chairlift! beautiful sunny terrace! the interior has its charm as well. very good Italian cuisine but not that. they offer a dish of the day and at a correct price! And to finish the team is very nice!
very smiling servers, the service was fast and the delicious pizza! I only tasted pizza, but I'm sure the rest is good. the charm of this place is its huge sunny terrace, and the authentic decor inside. there are lots of collection objects on the ski :)
very pleasant moment on the terrace! The team is nice! delicious pizzas. You can go without fear you will not be disappointed! I've seen several comments on the wait. We did not suffer but I find it necessary to be able to understand.

terrace at the foot of the rock chairlift. dynamic equipment, quality cuisine, varied day dish and well-equipped map. hard not to resist. the most pressed can always taste, the excellent pizza.
