This place is so close to my residence and I wish I had found them sooner! If you're at Saybrook Park to play, Chamo Fruit is just a short walk away. They have truly delicious raspados. I've only tried their Chamo-guayaba, Maracuya/passion fruit raspado, and passionada. The first time I got a Chamo, I asked to not have the chamoy mixed in the raspado and only on top. I tried it without any modifications and felt that the chamoy flavor overpowered the fruit flavor. They make their own syrups and chamoy sticks apparently too.They also offer crepes and juices (limited ours for those until 2 pm), tostilocos, esquite, ice cream, and more. This place is definitely a spot you want to check out if you are in the East LA area, the owner is very kind and the raspados are delicious. The prices are very responsible, it's small inside but there is plenty of seating.I will be coming back to Chamo when I'm in LA again, greetings from Orange County.A service!
