This place is so close to my residence and I wish I had found them sooner! If you're at Saybrook Park to play, Chamo Fruit is just a short walk away. They have truly delicious raspados. I've only tried their Chamo-guayaba, Maracuya/passion fruit raspado, and passionada. The first time I got a Chamo, I asked to not have the chamoy mixed in the raspado and only on top. I tried it without any modifications and felt that the chamoy flavor overpowered the fruit flavor. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the East LA area. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the raspados are tasty. The prices are very reasonable, and although it’s small inside, there is plenty of seating. I’ll be returning to Chamo the next time I’m in LA. Greetings from Orange County! Great service!
