I used to love going there. The food was soooo good. Kinda disappointed yesterday with my order. My wife’s shrimp poboy looked great. The shrimp were very big. She struggled to eat it and ended up having to use a fork to eat it because it just fell apart when she tried picking it up. The bread wouldn’t hold together at all. My 4 piece chicken finger basket wasn’t too bad. The fingers used to be bigger and juicier and now they are smaller by a little bit and kinda dry. We also ordered a pint of banana pudding. One of my favorite desserts of all time. Very gross example of banana pudding. It was the consistency of a runny chowder and everything was mushy. I took 3 bites and couldn’t eat anymor...
Love, love, love a good dive diner and Champy's fits the bill. The food was fantastic. The fries were crisp and the chicken is well seasoned and cooked to order. It was piping hot and fresh. It wasn't greasy, but juicy and we all know there's a difference! Our server was friendly and attentive (and I'm so sorry, I forgot her name), but she gave us just enough service without being annoying (again, we all know the difference). So definitely will recommend!
this was probably one of the worst restaurants i haved ever went to whole place was packed and thats fine what disappointed me was they had us waiting for drinks almost 10 minutes and people were already getting food when we were here first and talking about the food this place has barely any meals to eat our food came after waiting almost an hour just for it to taste horrible and the fries so SO sour.
If you’re looking for fried chicken done right, look no further than Champy’s! The food comes out so hot and fresh every time, and it’s always packing some serious flavor! Not only is the chicken delicious, but the sides are amazing as well. If you’re feeling thirsty, they have a number of locally brewed beers on tap and a well stocked bar. Highly recommend stopping by!

Absolutely nothing. No one offered me a drink of water while I was there seated. 10mn as waitresses walk around me. Sure I was alone should have been at the bar, I guess. The only brown person insight. Yet no one asked or said I'll be right with you. Horrible service.
when you stop at champy’s, make sure you are not in a hurry! the whole chicken is cooked to order so they have to wait a bit, but it is definitely worth it! the.
omg, where do I start? I ordered the wing plate with baked beans and kartoffeln w/gravy. the wings were soouo good! krispy on the outside, juicy on.
my elders wanted fried huh, so we decided on champys because they fried huhn do so well! the service was good, no ruffles, but also no complaining.

They don’t offer food to people who are allergic to fish. Everything is fried in the same grease
