I always have a fantastic time when I visit Caldense, and recently went back for the chicken club sandwich. It's prepared fresh upon ordering and served on a Portuguese bun. In addition to their wide variety of specialty pantry items, they also offer a large assortment of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. I have also tried their custom cakes, which are made fresh to order and absolutely delicious.

Portuguese tarts? This is the best place to get them. Pastry? This is the best place to get them. Bread? This is the best place to get them. Lunch? They have good sandwhiches and luncheons. Coffee? They've got that too. There's parking in the back as well so parking is not a problem. If I'm around, I'm here all the time.

Worst bakery ever, I bought a few pastries from this bakery on September 7th, 2023, all 4 pastries were stale and one of them had a smell of food gone bad. We saw amazing reviews for this place on google and thought to try it out, BIG mistake.I threw out 3 of the 4 pastries as they were horrible!!!

Whenever I'm in Whitby, I stop by to get some Pasteis de Nata (custard tarts), as they are some of the best I've found around the GTA. They have a really nice patio set up now during Covid. Buy six, no tax... They don't accept credit card, so be sure to bring cash or debit... Reserva una mesa ahora

Amazing! My wife and I finally found a restaurant that serves the exact kind of flavors we were searching for. We sampled all the different types of tarts and cannoli that this place is known for. We definitely plan on ordering our cakes from here in the near future.

Owner is extremely rude and will not be coming back here. I asked her if the sandwich came on bread or a bun and she was extremely rude about the question and treated me like I swore at her. Extremely rude, unwelcoming and unprofessional. Will never come here again.

Be sure to stop by this bakery if you're in the area! They offer a variety of pastries and a tasty sandwich selection. When the weather is nice, take a seat outside and enjoy a leisurely morning.
