The prices are very reasonable, and the drinks my friends and I ordered were great. The appetizers were okay, not a great selection. We got fried mozzarella sticks, and potato skins. The potatoes came out with small diced American cheese on it that wasn 't melted, and the potato skins themselves were a very odd color of dark brown/black. We sent it back, and they put cheddar on them melted, but they weren 't very good. Almost like they were cooked at least a day ahead, and used for us. When it came time to order our entrees, the waitress was pleasant enough, but after waiting 35 minutes, we were ready to get up and leave. I’ve driven by this place for years and finally decided to give it a try. We should have walked out the moment we stepped inside, since it smells like a nursing home in the dining room. Ordered a medium rare burger that came out well done. The bun and vegetables were fresh, but the burger patty was barely thicker than the slice of cheese and must have been cooked on a George Forman grill, since there was no hint of charcoal smoke on it! Great place in the 60s of a design, atmosphere look, but the food is good. Typical Americana food, steak, burgers, etc. I always get the Rib Eye Steak. Great, rival a steak house, Steak. Great value. About 30 for 14 ounces of steak. You can really try the coal grill. I have to give the owner kudos. He has kept his prices extremely reasonable inspite of our current economic state / inflation. Burgers 9.00? It does not add inflation costs, it absorbs most. Who else does that? I strongly recommend trying this place. If you want to eat in an elegant room, this is not the place. If you want good food, at a great price, with great service. Try it
Delicious, classic menu. Cozy restaurant with friendly staff. I took my gf here. She has lived a long life of eating chicken hearts, chicken feet, and gizzards and, now, I want her to enjoy the finer things in life. Today, she learned what a cornish hen is and she enjoyed it with ketchup. Charcoal chef makes one of the best shirley temples, baked potatoes, and more. This place is a time capsule and I can?t wait to go back. If anyone knows how I can buy the dracula mansion across the street, let me know.
We had a wonderful breakfast dining experience at this restaurant. The price per person was very affordable, ranging from $1 to $10. The food was delicious, receiving a rating of 5. The service was excellent, also receiving a rating of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic, earning another 5. Overall, a perfect dining experience that we highly recommend.
There were only two ladies who felt the place where they felt you at home and the food was incredible. Big onion rings and the Patty Melt and Fried Chicken basket were stellar. Such a fair place to eat price wisely, they have not increased price there barely and the food is all freshly cooked again soon.

just celebrated my husband's birthday with my daughter and lawless. our waitress was very nice, the food was great and appreciated. love the family closing knit feeling. a real jewel.
Good food! Service is good, but a little slow. Do you have a break and the time will pass. We have from 2:00 to 4:00 on 11/06/22.
