Disgusting. We came here for breakfast this morning and ordered the French toast with bacon and strawberries. The French toast was cold, the bacon microwaved and only like-warm with a lot of fat and no round rashes just thrnoffcuts, the strawberries looked like they were prepared ar least 3 days ago. Two small hairs were also found at the bottom of my plate and the little container the ice-cream was served in was dirty around the edges. Worst breakfast meal I've ever had. After being our favourite breakfast spot for the last ten years, we will never return. I am even more upset that they thought this was ok to serve to a mother with little children and if a lady was pregnant the risk of misc...
Highly recommend this place. With a group of 43 nothing was too much trouble from the first enquiry. Jess was fantastic with emails and answering any questions. They asked if/what the occasion was and with no prompting organised a table specially for our girls who had competed in an event that afternoon. Even with us arriving an hour later than we had hoped all staff were extremely helpful. Special mention to Ruth and Kynan ( sorry if that's incorrect ) who looked after us and to the bar staff that looked after us too. All meals were served quickly and were delicious. Definitely make this a place to visit on your next visit to Surfers Paradise.
We attended a group function of 40 people. Communication prior to the evening with the helpful staff made for a smooth enjoyable night. All staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure everyone was satisfied with the experience and the meals were fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charlie's to anyone looking for a friendly enjoyable meal.
The service here was extremely fast !! The quality of service was exceptional, fast and staff knew what they were doing. The staff that worked the night of the 5th of August 2017 should be commended for their high level customer service.Only negative was the garlic prawns were over cooked and smelt off but overall great experience.

We asked if we brought two meals would it be Ok if our Grandson could eat his McDonalds as he did not see anything he wanted. And they said no problem so we got his McDonalds and we back to Charlie's. Service was great with staff who knew what they were doing. The food was excellent and we both enjoyed our meals.
This restaurant wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The food and coffee were not particularly delicious, and the price was a bit high. While staying in Gold Coast for 3 days, I realized that there are many tastier, cheaper restaurants with similar menus around here, so I'm writing this review.
Asked bartender for a taste of unknown cider, his response was "you stand no chance mate" my response ok you stand no chance of getting my money. We went next door fabulous. If the service isn't great, go to the next place and you could be so pleasantly surprised.
Went to Charlies and i cant recommend it enough. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much. The food was incredible and cooked to perfection. Our waitress Ruth was exceptional and our granddaughter was smitten with her.

Gold Coast is our regular holiday destination! Just as Charlies is our regular place to go for great meals and great drinks! Huge shout out to 3 of their staff... Kynan - young fella who was ultra friendly, so friendly
We ordered fish and chips each for lunch they came with salad was beautiful Sized and tasted great. The staff were very friendly
