A true gem! Everything was spectacular! The service, the feel, the ambiance, the inside decor, and most importantly the food! Such a unique concept that allows for sharing plates and sampling everything that’s best in this restaurant. The plates are beautifully presented with such vibrant colors and out of this world tastes! The kitchen accommodates for any allergies or dietary restrictions. I will for sure come back and recommend it to everyone in Detroit!
The food and cocktails at Chartreuse are amazing!! The whitefish sandwich is everything I never knew I needed, delicious sweet and salty combo with a perfectly crisp breading. The spare ribs fell of the bone and the beans that accompany them are some of the best I’ve had, the roasted new potato is delicious and tangy topped with the fried mortadella that i could give bacon a run for its money 10/10 definitely recommend. Service was excellent as well!
Ok y’all, I don’t go around throwing 5 star sweeps around easily to restaurants. This one is an exception. From the moment we walked in little service touches that really made us feel instant comfort. The dedicated staff, the easy ambiance and just as importantly, flawless dish after flawless dish. How rare is it to have a restaurant experience that from bread late to pudding it’s ? What a fantastic experience for this first time Detroit visitor.
What a lovely experience. Tara was our caretaker and she was wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable, attentive. No pressure. I love finer dining in a relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent, service was excellent. all the staff was looking out for the customer. I really appreciate that. Keep up the good work. The twice cooked egg was the highlight. thank you. Fun spot, particularly if you are a chartreuse fan. The food was fantastic and the servers were friendly. They were super busy on a Sunday night and apologized for “slow” service (which honestly proceeded at a perfectly reasonable pace) and then comped us desert and raspberry schnapps! Dining room was a tad loud but otherwise lovely experience.
