SO GOOD!!!!!!! The sandwiches are heavenly, I don't know if it was just because I had just exercised and was really hungry, but I cannot stop thinking about this place. I got the meatball sandwich and an anise cookie and both were amazing. My friends got the prosciutto sandwich and the love letter sandwich and they looked so delicious! I'll definitely be back, because I need to try the prosciutto one. When you walk in, it's the layout resembles that of most delis and you just order at the counter. Went to Rocco's after a U of D M. Road rally. Great parking and fine service. We had the egg plant sand,chicken parm,dipped roast beef and I had the mufaletta. All were very good. I've had mufalettas at central grocery in New Orleans that are my favorite. They use an olive based marinaded topping which can't be beat,however Rocco's version with a more variety of pickeled vegetables was very good. A great place to eat a quick lunch.They should get a minestrone soup to go with the sandwiches!

Saw this place on a food blog and set out to try it ever since. It did not disappoint.They have deliciously crafted sandwiches. The place is small. Some tables inside and some outside. Wouldn't recommend a huge group, consider just getting take out instead. The place is super cute. They double as a small market and a deli as well. Their bread pesto is killer. The star of the show for me was the chicken parmigiana. Simple and delicious. Great for lunch or bringing tourists to the city. :

This is a full service deli with sliced meats and cheese, but it seems most people take advantage of the great sandwiches and prepared food. I visited on a busy afternoon, there was a long line due to an event in the area. Seating is limited with no table service, order at the counter and they call your name when ready.The selection of sandwiches, salads and other treats all seem fresh and healthy. I absolutely love everything from this place! It's a true gem in Detroit! They have the most delicious take-and-bake meals; my boyfriend and I usually grab one or two every month for dinner. The sandwiches are AMAZING! I always make sure to take home a single meatball for my dog. You can't beat the quality, and the staff has always been super friendly every time I've visited.

The best lunch we had on our road trip across the US was in Detroit. This place serves the most amazing sandwiches and a fantastic blue cheese and pear salad. Everything is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious! You can dine both indoors and outdoors, and they also have a secure parking lot right by the entrance.

Best food in town hands down. Customer service however was very poor.. Cashier was extremely rude. The cashier was rudely- sarcastic towards my girlfriend and I regarding the details of our order.. Even the cooks were visibly distraught when we came to eat at 7:30pm… Still the best deli around.

I absolutely loved how fresh and delicious the sandwich was! I highly recommend it! I tried the IL Rocco, and I'm definitely planning to return as a repeat customer. Never had a bad sub here. Corner deli, the Rocco, and the chicken parm are all in my rotation. Staffs super chill, and the work fast! Just had one of their lemon ricotta cookies for the first time and it was phenomenal. On-site parking lots a plus too. Can’t say enough good things.
