First of all, the parking was very convenient. Though there aren’t many tables for dining in, we waited and were fortunate that a table became available just as our food was ready. We were grateful we didn’t have to eat in the car, so be patient if you want to dine in. My friend and I both ordered the "Zio Freddo’s Got Serious Beef" sandwich and shared a strawberry Italian soda. It was absolutely amazing. The beef was tender and melted in my mouth with just a mild kick—perfect for me since I’m not a fan of too much spice. This is one of the best sandwich shops in the city, with a staff that genuine cares about high quality and good service. The passion for Italian food is on display in every aspect, from the perfect and focused menu to the deli counter featuring high quality meats and cheeses, to the perfect bar and coffee experience. You feel like family and you cannot go wrong. The meatball sub is perfection and the Love Letter to the Corner Deli is a genuinely good homage to the classic Michigan party store sub. Hint: add banana peppers to make it flawless.

Quite possibly the best meatball sandwich I have ever had in my life. The meat was super flavorful and seasoned perfectly. The cheese and bread were equally as good and as fresh as can be. You definitely can taste the quality here and with reasonable prices as well. I am looking forward to come to Rocco’s again many more times as everything on their menu looks equally delicious. This is a top tier Italian deli in Detroit, look no further.

This place will Rocco your world. Each sandwich could probably feed 2. Always check to see what desserts are available too. Got some coconut macaroons today that were BOMB. The best lunch we had on our road trip across the US was in Detroit. This place serves the most amazing sandwiches and a fantastic blue cheese and pear salad. Everything is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious! You can dine both indoors and outdoors, and they also have a secure parking lot right by the entrance.

I absolutely loved how fresh and delicious the sandwich was! I highly recommend it! I tried the IL Rocco, and I'm definitely planning to return as a repeat customer. They also offer a selection of alcohol, including beer and wine, along with a few cocktails, coffee, and even a meat market.

Picked up the Chop Chop salad for lunch it's absolutely delicious! The veggies taste so fresh and their house balsamic dressing pairs really perfectly with all the flavors such a great option for a healthy mid day energy boost.

The restaurant offers a nice selection of sandwiches with creative names. They also feature a range of craft beers from out of state. I really enjoyed the Italian Beef sandwich—it was delicious!

Holy heck you need these sandwiches inside of you. My choice was SERIOUS BEEF. Was not even slightly disappointed. Super nice place.
