Chaska is a comfortably lit, quiet restaurant where the owner pays attention to every detail of the food and overall experience. After a strenuous workout, I decided to treat myself and satisfy my hunger by randomly choosing Chaska. I ordered the Chaska meat platter, one of the pricier items on the menu at around $21. The platter consisted of well-seasoned and perfectly cooked chicken, fish, shrimp, and kebob. They substituted the shrimp for lamb, which they had run out of, but everything was delicious. We were asked to wait until 5 PM by our usual Indian restaurant, so we decided to take a stroll and came across this gem. The food here is absolutely phenomenal—by far the best Indian food experience I’ve ever had. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I can't even begin to describe how amazing the chicken tikka masala and vegetable samosas were; they were truly out of this world! My husband ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh, and he also found it outstanding. We also can't forget about the mango lassi—we ended up having four of them, haha! Overall, it was a wonderful experience. If you're looking for delicious, authentic Indian cuisine, you really have to give this place a try!
We ordered Vegetable Samosas, Chicken 65, Tandoori Chicken, and some Indian bread (Naan). The food was decent, but it felt like they had adjusted the flavors to suit local tastes, meaning it wasn't as spicy as you'd typically find in an authentic Indian restaurant. Personally, that worked well for me since I am not a fan of spicy food.
The restaurant is situated on a street that could easily be mistaken for one in Mumbai, with Indian shops and restaurants lined up on both sides. Overall, I recommend this place if you're looking for Indian cuisine that isn't too spicy.
Love this place! The best chicken tikka masala seasoned perfectly great naan and today I tried they’re chicken byrani also really good! I called them 10 minutes before closing and they were nice enough to let me put it in as a pickup order. I usually get delivery and it’s pretty quick! Also if you order from their site for delivery they sometimes throw in a free dessert!

Good ambiance and party place . Specialty is Punjabi dishes and gravies. Justice in both veg and non veg dishes. Their sunday lunch buffets are also very good and value for money.Just don't have a Biryani here, they don't know how to make one ; Taste: 8/10 Ambiance: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Value for Money : 8/10
Chaska in Jersey City is an awesome place. The service is phenomenal and the food is delicious. The fresh naan is to die for. The ambiance is nice and quite. You can enjoy a night out with family.
