The location is perfect, right in the middle of the old section of town. The hotel is built into a variety of the old buildings so there are various levels and a lot of stairs (stone and metal) to get to various sections of the hotel and the various rooms. The views are great from the bar and restaurants on terraces. Views are also great from the rooms facing the sea well worth getting one of those. There is very easy access to the rest of the old town, including the Jardin Exotique at the top. During the day the crowds of cruise ship and other tourists pour into the town and clog the small roads, but you basically have the town to yourself earlier in the morning and in the evening when stay...

This was a superb lunch experience from beginning to end in every respect. On arrival our car was taken from us parking is a nightmare locally but not if you are staying/dining at the hotel. The walk through the grounds and up the restaurant is lovely. We were slightly early but were welcomed and shown to our window table with “that” view. It is quite something. We had pre chosen the long tasting menu which looked interesting. Mrs had a glass of Krug (she has no idea what it costs! and I had a local rose to start with. The sommelier came to see us and I asked if there was a wine pairing offering for the long menu. He offered a ‘premium’ or local offering. We took the local wines why not?! Ev...

At the Hotel Château de La Chèvre d'Or, every meal becomes a lyrical experience. The staff is like an ensemble of artists who perform the culinary opera with precision and elegance, calm and luxury, where you feel enchanted and inspired. Chef pâtissier Florent Margaillan's creations are like a poem for the senses. His pastries are not only culinary masterpieces, but also an ode to the passion and dedication that goes into each and every creation. He weaves traditional French desserts with a touch of magic and innovation, creating something far beyond the ordinary. His creations tell stories of the past and the future and they take the palate on a journey full of surprises. A visit to this ga...

Visited this restaurant as part of a group dining experience whilst staying in Monaco. The restaurant is set on the side of a hill a quite a walk up from the nearest parking area ladies wear sensible shoes! The views when you reach the restaurant are incredible and it’s a wonderful photo spot. The food is slightly more difficult to judge as I felt it possibly wasn’t a true experience as we were a large group arriving on mass eating at the same time which is unusual in such restaurants. As a result the food whilst good, did not feel two stars and was not very memorable. All presented very nicely but nothing stand out. The staff were very friendly and service was good.

What a fantastic lunch we had at Chevre D'or. Firstly the grounds and the view from the restaurant are absolutely stunning and worth the visit alone. The food and service was impeccable. Staff were all so knowledgeable about food and wine. Every course was delightful and various dietary needs amongst our group was catered to well. The restaurant is fully deserving of its Michelin stars and if you are thinking of treating yourself then go for it. We had a fabulous day and one of the best lunches I've ever had in my life.

Food was good, however, the service was below average. At our table for over 20 minutes before we got asked about drinks. The Gluten Free sharing plate that we ordered came with focaccia which is really dangerous (if you’re one of the 90 million celiacs around the world). Mains arrived without the sides ordered so another wait there. Lots of emails reminding me that if I didn’t show up my card would be charged €300. Some staff were great and friendly but others were just up themselves. Wouldn’t go again. Nice view.

Definite not the food the Michelin reviewers got. Very mixed, cold veal, tough fish. Good flavours but so far below many one stars we have eaten at and not in the league of any 2 stars. Trading of the views perhaps, which were amazing. Started with a lovely seeded cracker, then waited 30 minutes for the next course which was a very dull bread. The evening continued in like fashion. The citrus desert was the only dish up the a 2 star but too little WAY too late. A very long and disappointing evening.

We had the pleasure of staying three nights, absolutely perfect in every way. From the welcome at the gate to final checkout, every single member of staff was fantastic. The location and views are second to none and have to be seen to believe, no photo can do it justice. The breakfast buffet was fantastic but the best food, service and views from the Michelin starred restaurant are out of this world.

One of the best meals I've ever had in my life and the service was incredible. We had dinner and lunch here in October and the venue is beyond beautiful, the food 5 star and the dinner staff was amazing.
