Les Vent d’Anges is a little local spot, away from the hustle and bustle of the beach restaurants peddling €30 for a plate of leaves. This is where the inhabitants of town eat, and it’s easy to see why. The atmosphere is a small restaurant, heated primarily via the wood burning pizza stove. Everyone here, including the customers speaks French, and their are no English menus. I ordered The Butcher pizza. Mince meat, onions and egg. An odd combination but one I thoroughly enjoyed. The pizzas are thin and crispy, so I didn’t feel bad for indulging. My father had a steak. He enjoyed his but said it was a tad tough. It was perfectly cooked.
