If you have heard of the famous Jardin Tiki in Montréal, then you may want to visit Château de la Lune. Jardin Tiki no longer exists, but this restaurant still continues to carry the ambiance from that restaurant. Moreover, the restaurant annually cleans the restaurant decorations--and you can tell because it is clean inside. As for the food, it is your basic Chinese buffet fare. There are choices for vegetarians as well--be careful of the hot and sour soup as it may also contain chicken which look like tofu cubes. Basic Chinese food buffet with an old classic look for those kind of places. The good: Food is actually good and tasty. Desserts are in a fridge and not on a counter buffet. Ambiance is darker and quieter. Not much people on a Tuesday night (when we went), which was nice. The bad: Having been fined for so many years for being unclean took a toll to this place as it feels like it keeps their old ways. Dirty and small bathrooms doesn't help. Less choices than other places. Trays are half full. Sausages were empty at some point and never filled up again. The food is good, which gives it it's third star. But the history stays with the place.

Expect waiting in line a little if you go there on a weekend night for diner. This one of the only chinese buffet restaurant that survived in center town Terrebonne. I would qualified it as a family restaurant. The food is good and the service average but eating in this kind of restaurant is never a super dining experience if you know what I mean. Once or twice a year I would say is good enough. But it is worth trying. I am not a big fan of chinese buffets but I would say it's OK.Try it you might like it. It is an all you can eat type of place.

We ordered and waited almost an hour, it was worth the wait. We paid the same price as cheap chinese but the quality of the food was so unexpected. Veggies were all fresh, a lot of chicken in pineapple chicken, ribs were full of meat. I have no idea what the restaurant looks like but we'll order again.
