Setting: Beautiful garden, we had a nice short walk to digest after the lunch. The hotel seems nice too, with an indoor pool in a nice “Pierre apparente” room. We had lunch in the private room, which was really enjoyable as we had our own...steward and were able to have a good family time without bothering anyone. Also, they lighted the fireplace for us. We visited the “normal” dining room which has too many tables in my opinion for the size of the room. Service: As mentioned above we had our own steward. Very nice person but not very discrete (listening the conversation and engaging several time, kinda interrupting us). Had to ask several times to have glass of water refilled. Food: We had one of the long degustation menus, overall the menu was very well structured. However, for a 1 star restaurant, I was expecting more finesse in the single dishes. Also, it may have been because we were a big table (8) and because we were a bit far from the cuisine, but food could have been served a bit warmer. Wine: Amazing wine list, which was kind of expected for such a region. Overall: Enjoyable moment, but service and food did not meet my expectations considering the price and the star.

we had a gastronomic experience here. the chef who is from mauritius is very talented. innovative ideas for perfection. Pannacotta style starter with lots of truffle, foie gras mousse cream brule, estragoneis cream with obst and meringue, a dessert to die for with chocolate...fondant and vanilla ice cream.

we know that the taste of each person is different and so is the appreciation of a restaurant. the amuses were floating, the fish was full of bones and that was filled with tendons. the cheese was ok and the chef apologised, but they expect more when they eat in such a restaurant.

Because of the lovely weather, dinner was served on the restaurant patio. It was a beautiful night and an equally beautiful meal. The food was delicious and the attention to detail was clear. The service was impeccable! Highly recommended!
