Je choisis un filet d'agneau et on me demande la cuisson... détail mais détail montrant un méconnaissance totale de la gastronomie. Ensuite le serveur m'indique qu'ils n'en ont plus. Je choisi autre chose et on me sert les frites les plus mauvaises que j'aie vu de ma vie. Suite à notre mécontentement on nous en ramène.... 2 minutes plus tard en nous disant que cette fois elles sont fraîches... elles étaient évidemment du même acabit. La restauration de cet établissement est une honte et on ne m'y reprendra plus.
this restaurant has a beautiful setting, the staff is friendly. On the other hand, when we arrived, we settled on the terrace and waited long before someone noticed our arrival. Then, the person who welcomed us returned a good 20 minutes later and was all surprised that no one came to take our order. I ordered a burger and asked that the meat be cooked well. We waited again for a good time and my meat was more than bleeding. Too bad, I was recommended for this restaurant, but I may not return.
everything was very average during our visit. the apero (spritz) away from the original recipe with doubts about the presence or quantity of prosecco. then the choice of the main dish: "we don't have tonight, we don't have tonight, ..." we ended up with cooked burgers. Unfortunately they were bleeding, which is not very attractive in the case of the hamburger. The wine was warm. So, very nice frame, but the rest is not up.
It 's one of the few if not the only 'laid back ' spot in Neuchatel. I come here often for a brew or a burger. The prices are approachable and the food is solid. I 've had a few of the tapas items which were top notch....The burger is the real deal though. It 's tasty. The real reason to come to Chauffage is the atmosphere. You get a more liberal, offbeat crew here and it 's a great place to people watch.

Chauffage is the best spot in Neuch, whether it 's for a pint, a cuppa or a meal. The burger chips at CHF18 is hands down the best in the canton, and probably further afield. Tartare is massive, great selection of beers teas, music...is always spot on, there are board-games, newspapers, snacks like saucisson or tomme with bread are CHF6, home-made ice tea... Brilliant.
On est toujours bien reçus au Chauffage ! Même à l'improviste, on a toujours de la chance... Le menu du jour est simple, bon. La carte aussi. On n'attend pas ou peu...Le vin aussi est toujours bien conseillé.Et pour les plus friand, les glaces maison sont excellentes...Nous recommandons ce restaurant où, à chaque fois, nous passons un moment très agréable.
The whole team is top, the waitress and waitress, the chief and his clerks. the card changes often, the dishes are original and made with love it feels, sees and feasts! the chef is creative and combines very interesting flavors! we go there every month
Endroit sympa pour manger une crêpes entre amis ...en plein centre ville de Neuchâtel sur les pavés, belle ambiance. Service un peu lent parfois quand même. Les crêpes sont bonnes. Pas mal mais sans plus !
