Best coffee shop in Penshurst. Been a patron for over 4 years. Awesome coffee and specifically almond latte for me (even my dietary requirements changed over the four years but CPC has remained consistently awesome). Not to mention the awesome barista! Did anyone mention the cool atmosphere in the shop? If you have a spare few minutes it's worth just sitting and soaking in the amazing collection. Dare I say it's like a Lego/star wars toy museum. I love this place. Truly the best place! My friend told me about this place and he knows about the best places and I tell you there is no one else who can tell you about the best places to go. I asked the guy who works here about my friend and he said that he was so pleased that my friend came to the shop. We talked for hours and laughed and laughed. As someone from Melbourne, I have to say that Sydney coffee (and some people) can sometimes be disappointing, but the coffee at Checkpoint Charlie is exceptional every single time! I have never been let down by the coffee, the amazing views, or the fantastic barista behind the coffee machine. I would definitely recommend it with a 10/10 rating.
Fantastic coffee. This hidden gem is located in the heart of Penshurst. If you're not a local, you might not even be aware of its presence. It's a perfect spot for those seeking a peaceful alternative to the busy atmosphere of a large cafe, with a primary focus on serving excellent coffee.

Good coffee counter next to Penshurst station. Look inside the shop to see the whole place festooned with figurines (the collection seems to still be growing). The coffee's hot and creamy although could have been stronger, it was a bit light on flavour.
As a lifelong coffee lover and having sampled brews from all over the Sydney metro area, I can say without a doubt you won't find better coffee than Cira's. It's perfect every time. And for a little shop Cira you pack a lot of personality!
This restaurant is always a go-to spot for coffee. It serves the best coffee in the area and has a very friendly guy working behind the counter. He's also a big fan of Lego.
Have to go for the coffee but a,lso the entertainment provided by the barista! love the geeky toys stuck all over . Gotta love the coffee and the service

Pop in out of this LEGO cave. Take with you a great coffee a smile. Generally serving only coffee. Open everyday. Right next to the station.
