There were 4 of us who dine there. There were only one cook in the kitchen and the waiter was helping to grill the satays. It did take awhile before the entrees and mains to arrive. Their serving plates were very big and the table was far too small. We had to pour 2 dishes into one plate so that we would have enough space at the table. Wait staff were friendly and courteous.The satays were lovely although it should have been grilled abit more. Curry puffs were very nice. The mee goreng we found abit too sweet, it would have been great otherwise. The rendang was very nice, we found it unusual that it was served with toasted slices of turkish bread. I like this place and we have been many times - as a couple, with the kids and friends. Value for money & BYO without the large corkage. It's quiet with room for kids to run around on the grass. We asked a waitress about a future trip to KL and she immediately wrote us a list of recommendations based on our Q's; Polite but warm if they know you want to chat. Yes it's small and the chef often brings the meals to the table which we like and , we've never waited long. The lemongrass prawn twisters are so fresh. Sometimes the kids have curries and we share dishes, other times they want the huge burger. We were impressed with the size and freshness of the prawns A good local to support!
Our group of 6 had a great experience at the restaurant. Half of us arrived and ate before the rest, but the staff handled it smoothly. We were served promptly and received recommendations based on our preferences. I tried a traditional Malaysian dish for the first time and was not disappointed. I ordered rice separately to complete the meal, which was a good decision. The portion sizes were satisfying for everyone at the table, including 3 women, 1 man, and 2 hungry teenage boys. The bill was surprisingly affordable. The restaurant was spacious and comfortable, and I look forward to returning when I'm next on the Gold Coast.
We have been there many times, the food is good and full of flavor. It always fresh and the service is great. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes. Their laksa is yummy and the rendang as well. They also have lunch special, which is a great value for money.

These dishes on menu is too sweet compare with any other malaysian restaurant. The best is their satay, this is the only dish similar like malaysian style satay. I can give 10/10 to the satay. Really awesome. But other food can do more spicy.
The food was fresh and the service good.Agree with a previous reviewer the food slightly on the sweet side but this should not deter you going.It is very good value ,For four of us the bill came to $50 per couple.Will certainly go back.
You must go!!! Malaysian restaurant but not only malaysian food. Clean, good taste, great service. This restaurant would be really popular If main street.
