It started off well; the server was polite and came to us for our appetizer order within 5 or 10 minutes. Another server then came over shortly afterward and was rather pushy about us ordering our entrees. He kept trying to push me to ask what I was deciding between and I was trying give a subltle hint that we weren't ready. He stormed off. We then waited for over an hour before having to call the original server over to order; and experienced the full attitude. I guess they decided to punish me for wanting to have an unrushed experience at their establishment. They could not hide their discontent. I ended up at Chef Fredy's because I was staying at the Hyatt across the street. I went in the middle of the afternoon on a Wednesday. I was starving and didn't realize it was on the fancier side. I arrived in my sweatpants and was out of place, but they didn't kick me out. There were a couple large groups there. I was seated right away. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I ordered the blood orange salad with crab cake. It took quite some time to come out of the kitchen but once I finally got it, it was super good. I would definitely come here again (without sweatpants next time).

I enjoyed the Creole Style Jambalaya with Shrimp Scallops but I wish it came with more rice
The pork chop was awesome. The duck was good, but fatty.
