The food is honestly so good. We just picked up catering for my daughter's 2nd birthday party this weekend (this was our second time having them cater a party of ours and the food is exceptional. We had catering for 20 people and I bet the amount could have fed 40. We got weiner schnitzel (which I actually now prefer over the chicken schnitzel , chicken schnitzel, spaetzle gravy, red cabbage and saurkraut (which I almost thought we didn't need but YES you do it ties in the meal so perfectly , potato pancakes with apple sauce and sour cream(they told me they might not travel well/get greasy but no they're so good they travel just fine . Must visit at anytime of year but we just celebrated my moms 80th bday during Octoberfest. Unique, one of a kind place in the area with authentic German food (coming from an Irish lass) fun music, great German decor and a dance floor for young kiddos and seniors alike. Good service with all the types of schnitzel with massive portions. The sides of spaetzle and potato pancakes so yum. Besides the spinach in the oysters rockerfeller you may be hard pressed to find a green veggie. But the soups chicken, French onion and goulash are delicious. Add this place to your bucket list next time your in town.
If I didn't feel so bloated after eating here, I would come every single day. The food was absolutely amazing! The waitress was incredibly delightful and very helpful. I felt a bit bad because she had to deal with my loud, arguing family (we argue among ourselves, not with her). We had a great time! Everything we tried was delicious. And the horse radish is no joke – it had me in tears! Service: Dine in.
I dined in for dinner and was thoroughly impressed. The food deserves a top rating of 5, as does the service. The atmosphere is rated a solid 4, which adds to the overall experience. Came a long way from Canada. We heard good things. The rumors are true! This place has it all. Great atmosphere, great service and unreal food. Completely exceeded our expectations.
