chef tony is a real cook and it is a pleasure to go into a restaurant, see chef sitting and then they see that he is standing up to go to the kitchen when they place their order. it is really its place and the washing brunch menu is plentiful and available until 3 o'clock on Sunday. I was there with two friends and we all ordered omelettes a friend asked for some adjustments to their selection all vegetarian who chef tony happily obligated. I had a chorizo and caramelized wolves and our third friend had an omelette with crabs and economical all delicious. I always enjoy a meal at chef tony’s!
My family visitied Chef Tony's for Mother's Day dining. Chef Tony's is a quaint and cozy little restarant in the heart of downtown Bethsda, that offers VERY tasty entrees of FRESH seafood. Everyone in my party tried a different Entrée, and were ALL pleasantly delighted! If you love fresh seafood and good customer service, this is the place to go!
The food was outstanding, and the service was attentive. The quiet side room is the perfect setting for a date. There's also a nice bar at the front, and a larger room in the back that's great for parties of four or more. I will definitely return for any occasion that calls for a lovely meal out.
I have to admit that I am chief tonys groupie. they can never go wrong with this scenic, funny but quiet restaurant. eating is always very fresh and creatiw. the portions are generous. the personal is attentive and chef tony is designed to ensure a great experience.

The seafood here is truly outstanding, fresh, and offered at reasonable prices every day. The generous portion sizes make sharing easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend the fresh whole trout and the calamari, which is famously known as Bethesda's Best.
chef tony’s was excellent. they have an absolutely great menu dishes exceeded expectations. the seafood was fresh and super spiced. the appetizers could not have been better, only we wished we had left a place for dessert!
Everyone working there all have excellent customer service skills. Our waiter did a wonderful job in hosting all seven of us. He was very patient. And he makes a mean Lemon Drop! By far the best crab cake ever! Kudos!
Had to plan a last minuet dinner with the family and found Chef Tony's. The place was a true neighborhood restaurant. The food was fantastic as was the service

The food is awesome, happy hour an affordable treat, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. There is a back area for larger parties.
The interior wasn't very appealing, so I wouldn't recommend it to friends or family.
