Badging it as Chefs Gallery Classic, they’ve turned their attention to the Sichuan and Hunan provinces in Southern China. Located on the extreme edge of Westfield Hurstville, this below ground restaurant is easy to access without having to enter the mega mall; however that also puts them right in the thick of a very competitively priced restaurant strip. Hurstville is full of many yummy places to eat, but they lack ambience and comfort and reasonable service.This is why Chefs Gallery is a welcome addition to the Hurstville dining scene.The restaurant is clean (of course, it is brand new) and seating is comfortable.The kitchen is behind a glass wall so there is no hiding any unhygienic food handling practises.The service is polite and efficient.The food is very good and their specialty is the hand-pulled noodles.The dumpling selection is limited but everything is quality rather than quantity.Price-wise it is more expensive than the average meal in Hurstville, at around $20 per person.Tea is not complimentary or bottomless. My wife and I just dined at Chefs Gallery Hurstville for the first and last time.Although we enjoyed the meal we will never go back on principle.The reason we selected Chefs Gallery Hurstville was to take advantage of the 25% discount offered in the entertainmentbook.com.au Gold Card.To our utmost surprise the cashier, then the supervisor "Michael", declined to honour the card.My advice is to be extremely careful using the Entertainment Book Gold Card in thisrestaurant.Please note we have used the Entertainment Book Cold Card is other restaurants throughout Sydney and never encountered any issues.
The restaurant is at the basement level but as it is new, it is clean and fresh. The tables were unpleasantly cramped. Some of the tables in the middle had less than 2 inches gaps between them. It'd be awful if you have another couple sitting next to you, as you'd be rubbing shoulders with someone else husband. The waitress who served us was cold and uninterested. The food, however, was juicy, rich and tasty. We ordered the kung bao chicken and duck salad which were absolutely delicious. The ox tail was a bit on ordinary side.

The most horrifying experience i ever had in a restaurant. The food is relative okay BUT BE CAREFUL. We are a member of Entertainment Gold card. And we were supposed to get $25.00 or 25% discount .... they found all the ways and means not to honour their commitment as part of the card.I can pay the bill in CASH even if it is times 10 ... I am fighting for the principle behind their commitment as far as the card is concerned .... if they can do this proudly, better BE CAREFUL and maybe, even check your bills
This was my third time dining and it was great! Consistently good food, big portions and great flavours. The restaurant is clean and service is good. Highly recommend the Singapore style noodles and cumin lamb roti. In this heat the air conditioning is a heavenly relief!
SO many great choices and variety on the menu! Food is delicious and comes in large servings, always have some to take home! Feel very welcome when you walk in as all waiters/waitresses greet you =) Only disappointment is they don't serve wine by the glass anymore.
It's a great place for chinese food. Variety of food choices and good quality. The environment is comfortable and pram friendly. Suitable for large group dinning. Service is fast and friendly. Price wise is ok, not overpriced. Definitely would come back again.

Every dish is superb.Its a delight to watch the chefs create the noodles and other dishes - such dexterity. This is a first rate Asian restaurant whose quality and range of dishes leaves the others in Hurstville at the starting gate. Highly recommended.
