We went to Chefs Place last Sat 29th April with a group of friends. The food was Asian and Italian and both cuisines were absolutely authentic and delicious. I had Beef Rendang just perfect, 2 friends had the Laksa which they said was the best they have ever had, another friend had the pork which again was great and my husband had spaghetti bolognese and said it was perfect. I cant fault the food however we were the only guest and i cant understand why. However we did say to the owner that if they dim the lights put table cloths on, it would improve the ambience so i think thats all they need. Our fav local!! We frequent Chef's Place at least once a week. The service is friendly and they are all very eager to please. The food is absolutely delicious. Our fav dishes include Nasi Lemak, Hainese Chicken Rice, Malaysian Curry and Laksa. Spring rolls are made fresh, chicken satay is delicious and the steak and pasta carbonara are yummy too. The main meals are very reasonably priced and the serving sizes are perfect. They are open for brekkie, coffee and cake is avail all day, they have value for money lunch time specials and overall, we just look forward to all our meals there. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My Superior room was very spacious and the highlight was definitely the amazing spa bath in the bathroom - perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I want to give a shout out to the housekeeping staff who were efficient and even took care of small details like changing the pillow arrangements daily and making sure the room smelled fresh. The bar had a great selection of alcoholic drinks. The location was also convenient, close to a supermarket, restaurants, and public transport. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again in the future!
We stayed at this restaurant for 4 nights and had a 1 bedroom apartment. The rooms were a bit outdated but still comfortable and clean. Despite being close to the highway, there was no noise in the rooms thanks to good soundproofing, allowing us to sleep soundly. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was excellent, especially the breakfast. Although we didn't get to use the pool due to the cold and rainy weather, it looked inviting. The location is convenient with easy access to Fremantle, the CBD, Belmont, and other areas. Additionally, there are 2 chargers in the garage for electric cars.

Wonderful stay. Very welcoming and accommodating. No 'spa ' per se for treatments but in room spas are a great size. You could easily fit three people and still have plenty of room. They are almost too big for an intimate setting for two. Pool is lovely and warm but still refreshing on a hot summers day. Pool towels arent provided in the pool area or in rooms, but are available from reception/housekeeping upon request.

The rooms at this restaurant are spacious and spotless, with a fully equipped kitchen and private bathrooms in each bedroom. Guests should remember to bring their own toothbrushes and razors, as they are not provided. Parking is available both on site and across the street. The bathrooms even feature jacuzzi tubs.
