We had a 10:15 reservation party of 8. We drove from Santa Cruz to Union City. We decided to spot to have a special Birthday Dinner for my 12 year old. Greatly disappointed. Juan G. the first time on chevy and it was a pleasant surprise. the ambiente was on the spot. vibe was spotless. when they go during the happy hour, they will see some great offers. Waiting time is somewhat longer than other places, but it is because of the amount and its popularity. were very tasty and unlimited afteros when they sit on the bar is great when they visit the playag. many televisions are everywhere and the staff is fast. parking is never a problem because it is located in the union landing. I would take my family.
while all eating was good, it was the steak nachos that were the star of the show. the chips were a bit thicker so they kept the salsa, the cheese and the steak without breaking. but the surprise ingredient was mais! it added a bit sweet to an otherwise spicy and salty dish. Fajitas was very good and very hot. Enchiladas with red sauce just so so. The red sauce is too far from âauthenticâ to make the cut. The cheap kids meal was nice. I think Wednesday must be $1 kids day. So the $8 kids meal became $1. That was a nice surprise. Upgrade and get the better alcohol margaritas. We had the patron ones and they were excellent.
First time to Chevys and it was a pleasant treat for our family. Restaurant is spacious, clean and well maintained. Went on weekday, not crowded and immediately received a table. Chips were crunchy and with tasty salsa. Food was delicious and it was enough to satisfy our hunger. Excellent service and attentive. Will visit again and recommend others…
Good cali mex. Some of the best chips and salsa and flautas. The type of place where you can only get their flavors at Chevys. Great drinks as well. Now serving brunch and bottomless mimosas and **** Maryâs.
