we go regularly and for a long time in this good restaurant, and write only today because it seems to us that its ranking on Villefranche should be better... good fresh products, very well cooked, a fast and smiling service, a menu at 14€50 with 5/6 entries to choose, 5/6 main dishes to choose, dessert cheese, what do we want better? a few excellent dishes: poultry liver cake, fresh frogs, bunny cevet, burgundy beef, veal head, fire pot, marine mussels, beef fillet, fish fillet; veal liver.......... The only reservation we can make concerns tables too close to each other, and thus a little the lack of intimidation and confidentiality.
greeted with the smile by the boss, the successor of the claudette the mother, in a convivial setting, you will enjoy a homemade and traditional cuisine. we will present an oversized slate, corresponding to the choice that is offered to you to compose your menu. it will be copied to the multi-variety cheese tray. this restaurant is listed in the Beaujolais bistro guide. It's already a quality pledge. the one has a menu of the day at 14.5 € (price or dessert ) with a coffee the week(about 3 or 4 of each choice).The kitchen is family and copier, the friendly welcome, the room is simple but luminous and air-conditioned (in summer we appreciate) , that ask more!!!
I eat regularly in this restaurant, in week as on Saturday and at 14 €, such a choice, such a fraicher, quality dishes, with entrance, dish, cheese and dessert, homemade, always with a coming welcome, we always come back there, it is paradise on earth.
