I visited chez daniel twice this week and eating was amazing, but the service was terrible missing. I have come to this restaurant for many years and I love eating, but not the service. I feel I have to say something. tonight, we were not served for minutes when they kicked us out at the end of the session. for minutes we had enjoyed chatting with friends from paris without time, the hostes said they must order dessert etc. our friends went and we expected that we enjoyed our dessert, but we were made to feel unwilling. bizarre! I'm so disappointed as I love this restaurant, but I feel that I need to know others... they don't make everyone welcome.
Ches daniel is a place where you come for a good drink and a nice meal. They had a abundance of local products ranging from wine, drinks and products. The starters/apeetieves where in our eyes a littel smal but they made up in unlimited refill...of raclette. The meat for the fundu and vulcanic stone platter was freshly cut in the kitchen. Live in our field of view. But the creme de la creme were the homemade desserts. Those were amazing and a real reason to dine here.
the family has eaten here a few days ago. great atmosphere and eating was really good. we have all decided for the hot stone with the selection of the flesh steak, duck, bacon (that the iden have become crazy) and truthahn. delicious. the children loved cooking. her own flesh on the stone. we felt that it was appropriate, given the amount of meat we had, and also the massive amount of fries and huge beautiful green salate. would definitely visit again.
Staff were positively unwelcoming, everything was too much trouble. We had a small child with us which was clearly not what they wanted in the restaurant. They were unhappy with us taking up any space when we were seated (we were a party of the atmosphere was hostile. They were virtually empty but it was clear they would rather we were not there. We left without ordering and will not return.

a traditionally designed savoyarde restaurant with an extensive menu and cheap trips for the mountains. Eating was so good that we had eaten there twice in the week and the personal was really friendly and accommodating. it can be a bit cozy as the tables really close together, but that wouldn't let me go again.
Very nice small restaurant. So reservation is recommended. We where with persons. Raclette, fondue and making your own meat on a stone. All meat and cheese were from good quality. So nice, that we ordered extra portions. Place to go when you are in...Flaine. Home made deserts very delicious!!
we ate the classic cheese fondue that was very good! our friends have chosen to be the raclette. they really enjoyed it. the waiters were very friendly and fast. I would recommend a reservation in advance, as the restaurant seemed to be completely booked.

Absolutely dreadful, if you're English don't waste your time going to the place. I have never walked into such a hostile restaurant anywhere in the world.
