We have been dining at Chez Fonfon for over 15 years, Gerard and Christine, were always so hospitable, relaxed and caring. We went there recently to find that Gerard and Christine have retired and new owners taken over. The atmosphere has totally changed. The waiters rush around and make you feel like you are an inconvenience. I was waiting to be seated and a waiter walked into me with a huge tray of drinks, he scowled at me and didn't even say sorry (even though I did) it really hurt my arm, it was a miracle he didn't spill the drinks all over me! I love this place and have become a regular habituee. Great food at reasonable prices, friendly and prompt service overseen by Gerard and Christine, easy access by skiing right to the door, kid-friendly, good parking but need snow tyres of course, great sun-deck, a cool bunch of guys and stunning lasses bring you your gluwein, hot choccy etc there. Never been let down.

Firstly make to book if you want to eat at FonFon on a Saturday or Sunday lunchtime, it is crazy busy! We ate here every lunch for a week, it is very affordable, especially for a French on piste eatery. The food is all home cooked, not your normal frozen food fayre here. Try the house speciality of home cured, smoked and dried ham, it is wonderful.

We arrived in a blizzard and we didn't have a reservation but they managed to squeeze the 8 of us in. Drinks were prompt and the service excellent. The children loved the steak hache and the grown ups bavette steaks and dauphinoise potatoes were amazing. Great value and we had to drag ourselves back on the slope! Reserva una mesa ahora

We ate here nearly every day and the food is first class! On Thursday the dish of the day was Boudin Noir and it is the best of this dish I have EVER eaten! The Tete de veau was spectacular as well. Gerard and his team are super friendly and we would strongly recommend searching this one out.

It's no secret that I love this place and Christine and Gerard the owners. What is new is the if you book they will do dinners at weekends after night skiing. We all had steak au poivre with the most amazing vegetables. A fantastic end to a great days skiing.

A great place to sit on the pistes, service is good, we we were not moved on after eating so could allow our lunch to digest, could be cleaner, saw a few things that put me off going back for food, the are very busy too. Reserva una mesa ahora

Wonderful location on the piste at Manigod/Croix Fry. Tasty burger and chips, but didn't find the other dishes as good as some other places we have been. Also found a couple of hairs in my food which put me off!
