We stopped skiing and went for lunch had not noticed the reviews talking about the slow service. Slow isn’t really the word catatonic better describes it. The food is very average but to be honest you are so hungry by the time it arrives it doesn’t really matter. The second worst on piste restaurant of our holiday first place goes to the nightmare ‘Happy Chalet’ this is Manigod not val d’Isère how do they expect to survive when they treat their customers with such dreadful levels of service?

Great place for lunch with a beautiful view of the mountains. The food was excellent and the service extremely friendly. We enjoyed lovely luncheon salads (Salade FonFon which were very generous and made of excellent ingredients (lots of smoked trout, potatoes, tomatoes, snow peas, carrots, melon, raddish, lettuce, etc. with delicious bread very healthy and tasty. All in all a lovely place for lunch. We'll be back!

Great snack stop on the slopes. Lunchtime is excellent value and half the price of eating higher up the mountain. Would definitely recommend. Toilets are in a portacabin and are tiny!

A pleasant lunch stop. Service was a little slow to start with. Had to actually ask for a menu and it wasn’t busy. However, the food was good and filled us for our onward journey.

Have had many great lunches here over the years and last week was no different. Really enjoyed the vodka beers after skiing. Kids love the chicken and chips.
