We were caught out in that our hotel restaurant closed on a Sunday so we had to eat out, being a small town there was nothing much open within walking distance. However we came to Chez Lily, a pleasant but basic cafe bar.The waitress was alone working both the bar and the restaurant, but coped without looking at all flustered which was impressive as it became quite busy.The food was good the salad was very fresh, I would go back without hesitation. I have to say that I was not keen on going in, but my other half said its this or go hungry! I have to say that I am forced to eat my words as well as my dinner as it was far better than I imagined.The carafe of red wine was good too!
This restaurant saved us when traveling through the region, because on a Sunday the very few restaurants around Digoin are all closed. The area is quite deserted. So we were happy to see Chez Lily at 2pm. I had a Caesar Salad and my husband a lasagna. The food was fine and the service came with a big smile. After lunch we had a stroll along the Loire river just opposite the restaurant.Parking available. Decoration quite funny : you can have your meal inside a old Citroen DS.
Stayed here when cycling the Loire. This was a town with very few hotels and the main ones were closed. The staff were not really friendly or helpful, although they did provide us with somewhere to store our bicycles. The rooms were very basic but clean. Prices were modest, which was reflected in the level of service.
We took a salad made up of salmon zucchini, lemon tomato but a lot of very misleading salad on the goods and toilets to see clean

Room very well no sound well placed for all and the reception very well meals plus breakfast super and good service and personal
We've known each other better in the meals, at the not very affordable age, do we eat little by little proprio?
