I wish I had found Chez Longu earlier during my stay in Sainte Maxime. It's the kind of no-nonsense restaurant where professionals actually spend time making you feel at home. Food and service are excellent and it's not too expensive. When we were there, the place was packed and it took a while before our food was ready. The owner stopped by our table to apologize, then later stopped by again to ask whether we liked it (we sure did and I told him!). There's often a line of people waiting to get a spot, so a reservation can come in handy.
We came across this restaurant on one of our many visits to Ste Maxime, it's a new addition to the restaurants in Ste Maxime, they are doing a great job to deliver great meals at good prices. Good pizzas as well as grilled meat/ fish great choice and many variations of set menus. The pesto tapenade was a nice intro as was the tap water at every table and when the bill comes it is under a kilner jar of sweets for the kids and young at heart. A grat concept, great family run restaurant
Went there to eat one night after work and had the steak each to be honest it was awsome!!!!! Went back the second night and had a pizza to start with another steak second night the guy serving us even remembered out of all the people he must have looked after that day how we liked it cooked five star food here!! Would highly recommend to anybody and very fair prices and beer nice n cold!
Been in St Maxime for 4 nights faced with an impossible task of finding a great place to eat when there are so many. Then we find Chez Longu, fantastic food plenty of it not over priced great people running the place. Pizza was excellent, tagliatelle excellent, atmosphere fantastic. Will go again for sure.

this is not the first time I go to this restaurant .... nothing to say the food is very good and fine ... I recommend it to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal in st maxim ... furthermore all the team is welcoming and professional ... bravo to the boss !! i wish you a good season...see you soon!!
Beautiful place, in the very heart of Sainte Maxime's old town. Friendly staff, fair prices, highest quality food, and an unbeatable, really Sicilian pizza: Thin, fresh ingredients, perfect.

Peut être lié au mois d'Aout, mais le service autant que la cuisine laissent à désirer....on ressent trop de stress et une certaine lassitude du personnel. Dommage

4 adults + 3 kids. We arrived early before opening time in the afternoon but were welcomed Excellent friendly service and excellent food. Recommended
New in Ste. Maxime. Excellent food. Very low priced menues. Absolutly recommendable. The 25 Euro menue would still be a good offer at 35 Euro.
