Chez Nick - Reservar una mesa

Stopped in to Chez Nick 's for dinner after a long day and was very pleasantly surprised by a wonderful meal. I started with a very refreshing cocktail (pictured), called The Show Goes On. Started off with an Elote appetizer which was three mini pieces of corn-on-the-cob (pictured), which was quite tasty. My entree was Lobster Mafaldine Scampi. I truly have never had anything quite like this dish before. There was an ample portion of lobster in this dish with the mafalde and a generous portion of heat (spice) throughout, which was both unexpected and appreciated! Loved this dish. With so many amazing restaurants in Manhattan tonight was a waste of time and money. Took 20 minutes to get drinks. Food was lethargic in coming out. My mother in law asked for more crisps for her tuna tartare and we were told it’s chargeable. Food was merely passable and so slow that they gave us a flight of desserts on the house, but even they were mediocre. Chocolate chip cookie dry and crumbly. Possible the kitchen got slammed by people eating the “restaurant week” set menu? We ordered a la carte and it’s the worst meal we’ve had in NYC.

Best dinner we’ve had in New York this far! Everything was SO flavorful, the service was absolutely excellent, and the cocktails were divine. Everything we could have asked for and more. I truly believe you can’t go wrong here! We had the tuna tartar, crab cakes, pork steak, big burger, Mrs red. And can’t beet it. Absolutely so fulfilling and satisfying. Second time in my life writing a review lol. Thank you all!

We visited Chez Nick while on vacation, as it was within walking distance of our Upper East Side hotel, and what a gem it was! The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed with what appeared to be many regular locals. The staff was kind, the cocktails were delicious, and the food was a delight. I had the burger, which was probably the best I've ever had (the homemade pickles and special sauce put it over the top)!

UES gem. Tried the burger for my first visit and was very pleased with it. Drinks were perfect and honestly I can tell by the vinaigrette that the other dishes are going to impress me as well. I?ll definitely be back to try more things on the menu. Thisis going on my UES shortlist!!

I don?t like UES American eateries. I feel they?re like basic white girls. They look pretty and inviting at first. Then you find out they?re bland and definitely not worth writing back home about. The biscuits in Chez Nick are worth calling your estrangedmom about.

The salad was quite good but the chicken liver was a disappointment. The contents of the glass jar had a very strange taste, nothing like chicken liver. I think there is too little liver and too many other ingredients. I expected more from this place.

This is a phenomenal restaurant. They soft fluffiness of the Dutch pancake, and the exquisite flavors of the ricotta toast are SUPERB! This restaurant is a certified VIBE. It gets the vibe rating 9.5/10. Go here for brunch sometime — it’s awesome!

The fried chicken and waffles was terrible. Two tiny pieces (I mean TINY) with burnt waffles dipped in some rancid mixture of cheap quality maple syrup/ butter. Truly awful! 1/5
