I had heard about this place as its socca is famous and gluten free. You have to queue for a bit, it seems to always be busy. But it is worth the wait. I went in the evening and the service is very good the waiting team are friendly, helpful and all speak English. I sat outside and its nice to sit there and watch the world go by and people watch. The wine list is quite small but has all you need on it, I went for a Rose and it was very nice but people go here for the food, and it is not disappointing. siamo tornati perché di passaggio e la loro specialità ci è sempre piaciuta molto. non eravamo preparati a 40 minuti di attesa per assaggiare la socca, ma fortunatamente avevamo assaggiato i loro crostini. certo che la pulizia dei tavoli è fatta molto sommariamente e non ci sono tovaglie o tovagliette. un po spartano, ma sono simpatici e i costi contenuti

Chez Pipo is perfect for the gluten-free visitor who still wants to try local cuisine. I was able to get the socca, a side salad, and a glass of rose, and my husband ordered the pizza and socca. Highly recommend!

typical of nice socca is delicious and the peat with blettes too. it takes a double socca or socca stenchs to be filled differently for a good eater.
