Chez Vann - Reservar una mesa

Our rental apartment is near here, it was a Sunday evening & a lot of restaurants were closed so I used Tripadvisor to find this wee place. I'm really glad we did as it's so tiny & unassuming that we would've walked on by. I can only repeat the previous reviews: gorgeous home-cooked Asian food. Everything's made fresh on site, even the spring rolls (which were totally different to those in the UK & the best that I've ever tasted!) I had the basil duck with boiled rice & my partner had the glazed duck. We shared a large starter of beef & spring rolls on noodles. It was all so delicious that we had to refrain from licking the plates clean! It is a tiny room with a few wooden tables & no aircon but they do take-away which seemed very popular. The owner & his wife run the place & don't seem to speak English so bring a phrase-book or dictionary! In summary, if you're anywhere near this place then GO as we will definitely be back there!

This place is an absolute gem and a must try when you are in nice. The owners are exceptionally hospitable and Mr Vann is a master chef specialising in cantonese roast meats as well as Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. The roast duck was delicious and on par with popular restaurants in London and southeast asia. The spring rolls were beautifully made and their pho was fantastic. Will definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in nice!

Small restaurant with a really great cooking. Nems are very good, but the master piece is really the duck. A must when it is available. Bo bum is very enjoyable, as well as the shrimps saute noddles. Highly recommended.

I love this place! I got pho after asking for Asian food during my trip to Europe and it was super good. also the owner was very friendly and very attentive. will definitely go here when I am back in nizza
