the chinah garden doesnt open till 5pm now and is closed on tuesdays, we went today and as expected we were not disappointed, met at the door shown to our table, made welcome, ordered drinks shown menu, we both chose chcken and sweet corn soup to start followed by chicken chow mein with the usual prawn crackers, we followed up with a dessert in my case mango pieces in ice cream and mango sauce, everything was gorgeous the ambience of the dining area is very pleasant as are all the the staff, we have been here before we enjoyed today and we will go back again,,t he service was bang on, its located at hale bank nr widnes on hale road close to pickerings pasture
We have been to this restaurant many times and have never had a bad meal. The food is always delicious and the service is attentive but not overly so, which we appreciate. However, the decor has not been updated in the 19-20 years that we have been coming here, and it is starting to look a bit dated. The main issue we have now is that my husband is disabled and cannot manage the stairs. If the restaurant invested in a stairlift operated by them, it could potentially solve the problem. Unfortunately, until we can find a way to get him up the stairs, we are unable to visit, which is disappointing.
We have ordered from this restaurant a few times in the past and the food was decent. However, we were very disappointed with the overpriced crispy chili beef we had this evening; it was almost impossible to eat. When I called to address the issue, the manager was uninterested. I'm sorry Chi Nar Garden, but your customer service is terrible.
New Year's Eve this year was fairly limited. But we still wanted to treat. Sadly this was no treat, the food was dreadful full of hard big lumps of onions the MSG was the size of a mountain and we were thirsty all night. We waited over an hour once we arrived at the restaurant for takeaway. Would never recommend or go to this place again.

7 of us decided to eat here. They have al a carte menu or several choices of set menus all at good prices. The food we ordered was freshly prepared and was quickly served. Friendly staff. Because the restaurant is upstairs it is not suitable for the disabled. Parking for about 20 cars. We enjoyed the food and our visit.
Went here for a birthday meal with family. I had never been before despite living around the corner. We will definitely be returning. The food was really good , we had the set buffet there was plenty. Everyone enjoyed it. The staff do a great job very polite and helpful and brilliant with the kids.
5 out of 5. Without a doubt the best Chinese restaurant I have ever visited. All of the food was served hot and fresh, bursting with flavor. This place is a hidden gem that I was unaware of. It surpasses any other Chinese restaurant in Frodsham. Thank you!
Lovely food as always so tasty, the staff are super friendly and great with children. A bit upset the prices have gone up but wouldn't deter is all the same. Thankyou for being great.

The people are lovely. The food is so tasty. Best Chinese in the area. Yes the decor could be improved but it’s clean and tidy. Staff can’t do enough for you.
Always a pleasure visiting this place. There’s no airs and graces and you feel welcomed by the staff. Good food at a good price.
