Chicago Prime Steakhouse

The food at this restaurant was delicious and the service provided by Anthony was exceptional. However, I was surprised when I received my bill totaling nearly $300 and noticed additional charges for the premium martini that my wife had ordered. She had requested her dirty martini to be made extra dirty, resulting in a $0.25 upcharge, as well as a $0.50 upcharge for bleu cheese olives. While the prices for items on the menu were already high, I was taken aback that they would charge extra for ingredients that are typically included in the drink at other establishments, and then list them separately on the bill. Hard to spoil the man who is the master of the grill at home, but for Father’s Day we felt like we struck gold with Chicago Prime. The steaks were decadent and the sides were incredible, but it was the atmosphere of this classy place and the dry, hilarious connection with Josh behind the bar who took care of us that really sealed the deal. It was a rare night out, but they truly made us feel like regulars. Definitely a new family favorite for special occasions.

I had a fantastic experience dining at this restaurant for the first time! The filet, Chicken Marsala, and Lobster Mac were all delicious. The staff was very accommodating, and the manager even surprised us with a complimentary Cherries Jubilee to end our meal. We also enjoyed listening to Tony Ocean in the lounge as we were leaving. It was a great night overall!
