This location has really gone downhill. I had to start the conversation at the speaker to get someone to take my order after waiting about 10 minutes. They allowed me to order rolls with my meal, even though they only serve biscuits. When I mentioned I ordered rolls, they informed me it would take another 15 minutes. By that point, I had already been in the drive-thru for 30 minutes. Initially, I thought they might be short-staffed, but when I got to the window, I saw five employees mostly just standing around. The worst part of the experience was getting home and discovering they gave me gravy that was as watery as soup. It looked more like milk than gravy. I really blame the owners of this...
Soooo, Chicken Express has gone up on their prices, but I still choose to patronize there. My last experience was not a good one. I ordered the 7 chicken tender meal with a pepper. When I got to the register my order was over 16.00 dollars. I asked the cashier could I have a bag? She told me that I could only get a bag for larger orders!!! I was livid!! I just ordered 16 dollars worth of food and I can't get a bag to help carry in the house?!? My question is what am I paying the exorbitant amount of money and can't get a bag?!?!. I just need to know why the prices were raised for if not to cover something like a simple bag for the food I just purchased. Anyway, that was my experience....
Usually I am a big fan of Chicken Express, but the service was slow, the food was cool/bar warm and had been sitting for a while. I was there at 9:15 and a number of cars were waiting. Typically there is a line because the food is cooked fresh and hot. From stripes, so went with bones in chicken, okra and corn nuggets. Nothing was hot or fresh. He made no sense on the long and slow line and bad quality food.
This place is still disappointed. I've been here 4 times and every time it's 830 to 9:00. Every time they're out of the chicken. 1. How is a fried chicken restaurant from chicken (9/17). So if I come in the morning, can I get chickens? I wouldn't think because deliveries don't run on Sunday. But somehow I feel there are chickens there in the opening hours. Strange.

The chicken is incredibly tasty, but it can be quite greasy at times—I even had oil dripping from my meat. I tried the corn nuggets for the first time, and they weren't really to my liking, but that’s just a matter of personal preference. Overall, I’m quite fond of her colleague.
Hey y'all, had to change them to a one star. My food was not fresh, even though I asked for fresh. Yhey took it back and just took everything out the box and refried it. I git the kids meal and my dang gravy was cold. Try them at your own risk....Its a Thumbs down ?
As a hungry EMT, I visited your restaurant on Friday at 7:00 PM. All the lobby doors were blocked, and the staff saw my partner and me but chose to ignore us. We ended up going to Golden Chick instead, where the lobby was open and they welcomed us with open arms.
The woman I spoke with was incredibly kind. My mom enjoys chicken legs, so I requested the 8-piece mixed meal and asked if they could swap some of the other pieces for legs. She happily made my order half legs. I really appreciate it. Thank you!

It's December 6, and I just enjoyed a three-piece chicken meal. I want to give a big shoutout to the cook and the staff—the chicken was outstanding and incredibly delicious. Thank you!
