Found this place after scrolling through yelp, could not decide between sushi, ramen, or this restaurant. Nonetheless, what got me interested in this establishment was the surprising name, Chicken Meets Rice. Quite attention grabbing. This place is located in a mini food court next to the 99 Ranch Market. The manager, Jonathan, was kind and nice enough to explain and accommodate our requests to our order. What we had ordered: 1 Split Protein Box: Fried Chicken, Tofu,Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Broth, and Sweet Chili and Teriyaki Sauce. 2 Grilled Chicken Box, Sticky Rice, Veggie Broth, Teriyaki and Sweet Chili Sauce. Perfect for a quick lunch with small menu options so you don 't have to worry about what to order. Love their CMR house sauce and complimentary chicken broth with your order. You can 't go wrong with se boiled chicken and rice.

Highlights: -Price: very affordable -chicken rice was perfect pairing with the soft and tender grilled chicken and the fried one. Very umami with saltiness and sweetness from the teriyaki sauce -chicken was not dry but packed with the flavors from the marinate -refreshing chicken soup to wash down flavors after each bite

Self place orders at the kiosk. Well packaged food for takeout orders. Their own online order system seems not working for this new location.
